Christmas Celebration
We are looking for artists of any kind—painters, writers, hand-letterers, photographers, designers, sculptors, makers, etc. with whom to collaborate on a special Christmas Eve event. If you are interested and want to learn more, please contact Seth Weber.

Class for 2-Year-Olds Opening
We will be opening up a classroom for your 2-year-old toddlers, beginning next week, on November 29.

Christmas Outreach
As we celebrate our Messiah's birth together, we want to see that Good News spreading through the world. This year, we're setting up two easy ways to do just that. Send one of our global partners a letter from your family, or give a practical gift to Gospel workers in Nepal or Indonesia, through our Christmas Hope Tree partnership. Learn more.

Women's Christmas Dessert (online-only)
Due to the most recent statewide restrictions, the in-home portion of this event has to be cancelled. If you were going to host a group in your home, you can share the information about the special video premier with your guests. Learn more.

Getting Connected with Faith Bible Church
If you are new to Faith Bible Church, you can get connected by filling out our connect form at fbchurch.org/connect. We'd love to get to know you, too!

Passage: Matthew 11:20-30

Principle: Jesus says to take up His yoke and learn from Him.

Praise: “Jesus, Name above All Names”

Prompt: Ask your child these questions:

  • Why is it dangerous to hear about Jesus’ miracles and not repent?
  • What does Jesus require of and promise to those whom He calls (Matt. 11:28)?

Practice: Help your child apply these truths in the following ways:

  • By coming to Jesus when he is weary and heavy laden, trying to reach heaven on his own.
  • By taking up Jesus’ yoke and learning from Him.

This Week: As a family, read selected portions of Matthew 11:20–30.

Next Week: Matthew 12:22–37

Leadership
A team of elders leads Faith Bible Church under the leadership of Christ and His Word. These are men who have been deemed to be qualified to serve in this way according to the qualifications found in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9. Each man is uniquely gifted by God to serve in this leadership position, and serves according to his ability in "overseeing" a part of the church at FBC.
