Israel Study Trip, Summer 2021

Childcare Begins

Principle: Only Jesus is righteous and can take away the punishment for men's sin.

Praise: “Holy, Holy, Holy"

Prompt: Ask your child these questions:

• In what ways did Satan tempt Jesus?

• With what words and actions did Jesus respond to Satan's temptation?

Practice: Help your child apply these truths in the following ways:

• By resisting temptation by knowing the truth of God's Word.

• By trusting God's Word when tempted to sin.

This Week: As a family, read selected portions of Matthew 4:1–11.

Leadership
A team of elders leads Faith Bible Church under the leadership of Christ and His Word. These are men who have been deemed to be qualified to serve in this way according to the qualifications found in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9. Each man is uniquely gifted by God to serve in this leadership position, and serves according to his ability in "overseeing" a part of the church at FBC.
