Christmas Celebration
In a year of firsts, come experience the vibrancy of Jesus’ earthly birth in a new way. Along with candlelight and traditional carols, our celebration will feature visual art! Take a walking tour through original work by artists in our church, and see fresh interpretations of the Christmas story. Come join us on Christmas Eve (Thursday), between 4pm and 6pm, and learn more at fbchurch.org/christmas.

Christmas Outreach
As we celebrate our Messiah’s birth together, we want to see that Good News spreading through the world. This year, we’re setting up two easy ways to do just that. Send one of our global partners a letter from your family, or give a practical gift to Gospel workers in Nepal or Indonesia, through our Christmas Hope Tree partnership. Learn more.

Women’s Christmas Dessert Thank You
Thank you to Trudy Konzal, Lydia Kinne, Amy Kim, Lana Pustovit, Mitzi Peterson, and all the other people who gave their time and effort to make this year’s Women’s Christmas Dessert possible!

Give Online
Support Faith Bible Church through the General Fund, or help those in need in our church and community through our Care Fund. Visit fbchurch.org/give, or set up a giving schedule through your Church Center account.

Jesus Teaches the Parable of the Sower

Passage: Matthew 13:1–23

Principle: People respond differently to the sowing of God’s Word.

Praise: “Lord, I Lift Your Name on High”

Prompt: Ask your child these questions:

  • What are the different soils, and what does each represent?
  • What does it mean to have ears but not be able to hear?

Practice: Help your child apply these truths in the following ways:

  • By praising God for eyes to see and ears to hear His Word.
  • By examining his response to God’s Word.

This Week: As a family, read selected portions of Matthew 13:1–23.

Next Week: Matthew 14:13-21

Leadership
A team of elders leads Faith Bible Church under the leadership of Christ and His Word. These are men who have been deemed to be qualified to serve in this way according to the qualifications found in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9. Each man is uniquely gifted by God to serve in this leadership position, and serves according to his ability in "overseeing" a part of the church at FBC.
