Leadership
A team of elders leads Faith Bible Church under the authority of Christ and His Word. Some elders are paid by the church and entrusted with full-time ministry as pastors. Our lay elders, who come from a variety of vocations, are unpaid but give time and energy beyond their other responsibilities to care for the church and its members. The elders meet regularly for prayer, study of the Bible, and oversight of the ministry and direction of the church. The deacons lead teams of Faith members who are serving the church and assisting the elders in many different aspects of church life.
Elders and deacons are affirmed regularly by the congregation according to their biblical qualifications for leadership of the church body (1 Timothy 3:1-13, Titus 1:5-9).
