Facilities Assistant
The primary function of this position is to provide assistance to the Facilities Manager in the care and management of the church property for the purposes of the ministry of Faith Bible Church.
The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following under the supervision of the Facilities Manager:
- Participate in facilities and grounds work approximately 22-24 hours/week as presented here. There is some limited flexibility in the scheduling of hours, but some will need to be regularly with the Facilities Manager present.
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Participate in pertinent facilities, administrative, and all-staff meetings as requested.
- Perform care and maintenance of church property in activities such as mowing, weeding, painting, small construction projects, equipment maintenance and repairs, and communicating/coordinating with contractors and/or service providers to do specified tasks.
- Maintain and develop appropriate volunteer ministry involvement (not in conflict with this position) under the oversight and shepherding of the board of elders of Faith Bible Church.
Pay range: Approximately $24-28/hour, and can be higher depending on experience
