Ambe Sanggona, from the Bambam people group in Southeast Asia, began learning about studying the Bible, following Jesus, and translating the Bible as a young helper to Phil and Denise Campbell over 30 years ago. He went from being a faithful helper to their team, to becoming a part of the translation team, to leading the team, to now working as a consultant for other translation projects while continuing to lead the Bambam project. That team is working on completing the Old Testament translation, currently finishing Isaiah and Ezekiel and beginning work on Esther.

Prayer requests (updated Fall 2024)

• For him and his team to have wisdom and grace to faithfully translate the rest of the Old Testament.
• For the Bambam churches to use, read, understand and believe the Bible in their own language as the church battles syncretism and ancestor worship.
