God has spoken clearly, but we won’t listen clearly, so is there any hope? Yes, because Christ is our clarity. Jesus not only gives us eyes to see and hearts to receive the truth of God’s clear Word, but he also teaches us in the gospels a faithful hermeneutic for reading Scripture. What Jesus teaches us is that all of Scripture points to him.
