#45 A Primer on LGBTQ+ Issues and Voting

LGBTQ+ issues are tightly bound up in this year’s election cycle. President Trump openly supports gay marriage and the Democratic Party Platform seeks to treat LGBTQ+ identity as a civil rights issue. Platform issues like sex education, and hiring requirements are certain to impact churches, local schools, and religious non-profits. The Republican Platform and the Democratic Platform are very different when it comes religious liberty in these matters.
