The church should be the safest place for victims of abuse, they should be helped, loved and protected, yet many times the responses of churches are inadequate. In this seminar we address the inadequacies of how churches respond to domestic abuse and violence and give principles and practical ideas for how churches and church leaders should prepare to help these vulnerable individuals and families.
Brian is the Pastor of Counseling & Equipping at Faith Bible Church. He is passionate about the local church, and equipping the saints to effectively serve one another. Before coming to Spokane, he spent 14 years serving God's people as a pastor in rural New England (Vermont & New Hampshire).
