Isaiah 42:1-4

Introduction

God’s Servant—Jesus Christ will bring forth justice so direct all your longings toward Him.

1. Chosen for Justice
   God’s ultimate purposes:
   • The love relationship with the Trinity
     • Matthew 3:17 and behold, a voice from heaven said, “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased.”
     • Matthew 17:5 He was still speaking when, behold, a bright cloud
       overshadowed them, and a voice from the cloud said, “This is my
       beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased; listen to him.”
   • Glory to God alone
2. Faithful in Justice
3. Unstoppable in Justice

Dan Jarms

Dr. Dan Jarms is teaching pastor and team leader at Faith Bible Church in Spokane Washington, as well as associate dean at TMS Spokane. He has been married for over 30 years to Linda, and has three adult children. He earned his B.A. in English at the Master’s College, B.Ed. at Eastern Washington University, M.Div and D.Min in Expository Preaching at The Master’s Seminary. His other interests include NCAA basketball, gardening, brick oven cooking.
