Paul’s Prayer for the Perfection of the Church
00:00 00:00

Love and knowledge are equally important, you cannot have one without the other. Our love for one another and for God depends on our knowledge of Him, love without knowledge is powerless, but knowledge of Him that does not produce affection, desire, love for Him, is useless.

Sermon Notes:

Paul prays that the church would grow in discerning love for the purpose of living sincere and blameless lives for the day we stand before Christ. This is all for the glory and praise of God.

Three Characteristics of a Church Headed for Perfection

  1. Growing in Judicious Love
  2. Living with Sincerity and without Offense
  3. Aiming at the Glory and Praise of God
