Re-opening for Sunday Services!

Greetings Faith Bible Church

We have some great news from the Governor’s office. We are able to start reopening with up to 200 people in the auditorium for in-person services!

It’s a really good start in the process. Here is what that will look like:

  • June 28 will be a practice run of an in-person gathering while live streaming at 10:30am. We will only have a small portion of the congregation in-person: our ushers, greeters and staff all there to walk through all the health and social distancing practices.
  • July 5 we aim to be ready for two services (8:30am and 10:30am) which will run 60 minutes each and allow for cleaning in between. We will send out information soon about how you can sign up to participate in-person at the services starting July 5th.
  • Our goal within a few weeks of reopening is to have space for everyone who wants to meet be able to attend in person.
  • Live stream will remain available for the foreseeable future. So we still urge those who are have high risk health factors or feel uncomfortable coming to continue to live stream.
  • BONUS! By mid-July we plan to make large rooms available for mid-week use by growth groups and classes if groups wish to use them. Your growth group leaders will soon be brought up to speed on what that can look like.

Much of what you imagine a church gathering to look like will be different. But lets make the best of it! Come excited to sing, pray, hear God’s word and encourage God’s people. As we work the bugs out we will then add in the ordinances.

And as usual during the pandemic, this new plan is dynamic and fluid and many adjustments will inevitably need to be made. Thank you for your patience so far and we would ask for it to continue. Also, pray for us all as elders, staff and volunteers as this new phase comes. We need God’s wisdom and guidance in the shepherding and logistics of Faith Bible Church.

We thank God for you all,

Dan Jarms
