Two characteristics of disciples in Jesus’ Kingdom so that you may experience its richest blessings.

1. Come to hear and be healed by Jesus (Luke 6:17-19)

  • Two kinds of hearing
  • Two kinds of healing
  • Psalm 107:4-7
     

2. Consider where true and eternal joy is found (Luke 6:20-23)

  • The poor (spiritually and physically)
  • The hungry (spiritual and physical)
  • The sorrowful (spiritually and physically)
  • The persecuted (on behalf of Jesus)
     

Implications:

Hearers of Jesus’ word

Hoping in Jesus’ promise
   The great reward!
