You may have noticed some heavy equipment and hardhats operating to the west of our church building. Excitingly, that is evidence of God’s ongoing work to save people from every tribe and language and nation of the earth! We wanted to answer a f...
People from some of the least-reached peoples of the world are moving to Spokane! We can obey the Lord Jesus by seeking to make disciples of the peoples of the world as they move right here to our city.
International Students Incorporated and our partners Dan and Pam Ubaldo reach out to those who come to the U.S. for higher education. ISI fosters relationships and creates opportunities for students to study the Bible. Talk Time is a monthly dinner held by ISI to build relationships with students while giving them an opportunity to practice English. International Women’s Connection gives ISI a chance to connect with women who may not be able or willing to participate in other avenues of outreach.
In 2006, several Faith members partnered with World Relief to welcome a stream of refugees from Bhutan to Spokane. Over several years, more and more people from South Asia began to meet together at Faith Bible Church, with several Faith members as well as other Nepali-speaking believers helping to lead church services. The group has now established its own leadership and elders and officially launched Meelap Church. The congregation still meets at Faith Bible Church and continues to grow and encourage other Nepali-speaking congregations in the U.S.
Faith Bible Church partners with members of other churches to put on a Friendship Dinner about once a month. It brings together people from Afghanistan, Iran, and Iraq, as well as many other places, and shares the truth of Jesus with them. Believers from Faith and other churches come to develop relationships and Gospel conversations with our neighbors from all over the world.
Faith’s Good Neighbor Team partners with World Relief to come alongside refugees coming into Spokane and help them get connected and thrive in the U.S. This long-term friendship is a way to fulfill the biblical command to love the sojourner, and it also opens doors to share the Gospel.
