Main Idea: Four questions to help evaluate your enjoyment of God and his gifts.

1. Have you answered the ultimate question of where your greatest affection lies?

Do you love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind, soul, and strength?

2. Do you recognize every earthly joy and pleasure is a gift designed to connect you to [not just point you to] the ultimate giver?

3. Are you intentional in the way you orient your life toward God as you enjoy earthly goodness?

Thankful worship….

Eve and the fruit … wanting fruit for it’s sake, not the Lord’s

4. Are you willing [and do you know how] to test the maintenance of your greatest affection?
