The God who hears us is…
- A God Who is Holy (v. 4-6)
- A God Who is Loving (v. 7-8)
- A God Who is Just (v. 9-10)
- A God Who is Kind (v. 11-12)
Application:
- What keeps you from praying? (How does your answer demonstrate that you might have a wrong view of self and/or God?)
- How does the holiness, love, justice, and kindness of God offer comfort in the face of opposing evil? (In the world around you, or in your own heart.)
- How are you doing with taking shelter with God? (Do you believe that with him, and in following his will you are most safe and satisfied?)
- With these four characteristics of God in mind, how should we respond when discussing the “problems of evil” in the world? (Whether with believers or unbelievers.)
