Responding to the assassination of Charlie Kirk

A note from Dan Jarms and the Elders

Responding to the assassination of Charlie Kirk

Charlie Kirk’s murder is an unqualified evil and tragedy regardless of anyone’s take on his theology or politics. It has surfaced very disturbing realities across the nation.

Many of our beloved congregation want to hear more from their shepherds on the issue. At our elders' regular meeting last night, we processed and prayed through the situation. This Sunday, September 21, we will take time to lament, address the realities, and pray together. How must we take comfort and courage in Jesus the King? Invite your friends to join us.

"I therefore, a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace." — Ephesians 4:1-3

Pray, brothers and sisters.
