Becoming Faithful Disciples

Matthew 4:17-23

Main Idea: Faithful disciples live with Jesus, learn from Jesus, look like Jesus and love like Jesus.
“Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.” - Matthew 4:19

1. Faithful disciples live with Jesus and learn from Jesus - “Follow Me”
2. Faithful disciples look like Jesus and love like Jesus - “I will make you fishers of men”
     

Application questions:

• When am I most prone to forget that I am living with Jesus?
• How can I remember that I am living with Christ in those times?
• What ways of learning from Jesus are most helpful for me?
• How can I focus more on learning from Jesus in those ways?
• How can I become like Christ in one area that I am not like Him? Consider Colossians 3:1-17.
• What steps do I need to make to love others like Christ loves them?
