Main Idea: In view of the Christian’s new union with Christ (Col 3:1-4), the Apostle Paul gives three exhortations about how the Christian must deal with the desires of his old self (3:5-11).

  1. Mortify Your Old Immoral Passions (3:5-7)
  2. Repudiate Your Old Sinful Anger (3:8)
  3. Reject Your Old Deceitful Speech (3:9-11)
