Introduction

Various Trials and Suffering in 1 Peter

The COVID-19 pandemic is not bringing about uniquely Christian suffering, but Christians can live under the suffering in a uniquely Christian way

6 ways to live during the COVID-19 pandemic that is uniquely Christian

  1. Humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God (1 Peter 5:6)
  2. Cast your cares upon the Lord (1 Peter 5:7)
  3. Be sober and watchful (1 Peter 5:8)
  4. Resist the devil firm in the faith (1 Peter 5:9)
  5. Count on your certain hope (1 Peter 5:10)
  6. Resolve to worship (1 Peter 5:11)
