Main Idea: Seeing clearly God’s plan for Christ’s birth is the only way to find God’s peace on earth

1. Why Did Christ visit?

• To complete the plan of salvation
• To grant forgiveness of sins
• Because of the tender mercy of God

2. Who did Christ Visit?

• Those in Darkness
• Those in fear of death
• Those on the path of judgment

Jesus was born to live,
   to die
   to rise
   to return
   so that he could redeem a people who would live in peace with him forever

Finding that peace now
   Am I getting my ‘light’ from the right place?  
   Am I trusting a ‘what’ or a ‘who’ to see my way through my trouble? Is that ‘who’ Jesus?

Dan Jarms

Dr. Dan Jarms is teaching pastor and team leader at Faith Bible Church in Spokane Washington, as well as associate dean at The Master's Seminary in Spokane. He has been married for over 30 years to Linda, and has three adult children. He earned his B.A. in English at the Master’s College, B.Ed. at Eastern Washington University, M.Div and D.Min in Expository Preaching at The Master’s Seminary. His other interests include NCAA basketball, woodworking, and art.
