Main idea: Take hold of your privileges and responsibilities as God’s steward for a purposeful and satisfying life. 

  1. Consider the King and His purpose
    • Creator
    • Judge
    • Savior
    • Father
  2. Believe the Gospel of the kingdom
    • Mark 1:15, 1 Corinthians 15:1-3, 2 Corinthians 8:9
    • 2 Corinthians 5:20
    • Philippians 4:19
  3. Count stewardship as privilege and responsibility
    • 1 Chronicles 29:11-16
    • What do I do with the money God gives me?
      • Family
      • The poor
      • The advancement of the Gospel
      • Enjoyment
  4. Plan to give an account
    • 2 Corinthians 5:8-10

Dr. Dan Jarms is teaching pastor and team leader at Faith Bible Church in Spokane Washington, as well as associate dean at The Master's Seminary in Spokane. He has been married for over 30 years to Linda, and has three adult children. He earned his B.A. in English at the Master’s College, B.Ed. at Eastern Washington University, M.Div and D.Min in Expository Preaching at The Master’s Seminary. His other interests include NCAA basketball, woodworking, and art.
