Cheerful givers are God’s beloved stewards and distributors of God’s gracious blessings.

Introduction

Review:

  • God owns everything and we are his stewards.
  • Faithful stewards are careful with debt.

Main idea: Cheerful givers are God’s beloved stewards and distributors of God’s gracious blessings.

  1. Regard giving as planting and harvesting with God’s resources.
  2. Give cheerfully.
  3. Trust God’s grace.
  4. Rejoice in the harvest.
    • Righteousness (9:10)
    • Increased stewardship (9:11)
    • Worship (9:11-12)
    • Unity (9:13-14)
