As we continue reading through Genesis, we see God’s grace and faithfulness to keep HIs promises to Jacob and his family. We see people like Jacob and Judah learning to fear God and to obey Him through many sins and failures. We begin with the Joseph story and see that God’s promise to be with Jacob continues to Joseph through many afflictions. Truly God’s providence and sovereignty is over all things as He is working for the good of His people and His glory.
